Plastic. Brilliant or perverse?
Visit for school groups to the exhibition
With the interactive visit to the exhibition Plastic. Brilliant or perverse? we reflect on a material that has transformed our lives. What is plastic? What types are there? How do we use it?
Through observation, play, interaction with artworks, and dialogue, we will learn what this fascinating material is and how it has become omnipresent and indispensable in our lives. A selection of museum objects contrasted with their plastic counterparts will help us question the value of objects and how, after their often too ephemeral use, we come to consider them as waste.
Guided by various artists, and with the great power of art to stimulate our emotions, we will reflect on our relationship with plastic from various perspectives. Through game-based challenges, we will imagine creative solutions and seek new meanings for this almost perfect and durable material, which, for that very reason, has become one of the main threats to the planet.
This is the educational proposal linked to the exhibition Plastic.
