Patufet, where are you?
An introduction to agriculture for children
Stories make us dream, they make us discover new worlds… And what better way to learn how farmers of yesteryear worked than guided by Patufet? A classic for the little ones that will accompany us during the museum visit through a participatory performance by children. In this way, we will investigate the origins of what our grandparents and great-grandparents ate: bread, wine, and olive oil, central elements of our Mediterranean diet.
Recovering the essential values that governed their work: effort, saving, foresight, not wasting anything… And, above all, caring for the land. And just as Patufet hid under a cabbage, we will conclude our journey in the museum’s organic garden to see how this story ends and discover some more secrets!
