Beating water
Sips of Awareness
What is the secret of this essential and irreplaceable element for life? What is nature’s pattern that ensures life’s sustainability? Water, with its changes of state, weaves the sky with the earth; it circulates through oceans, air, mountains, karstic caves, valleys, cities, and our bodies, generating life in its path. Through this activity, we will discover how this flow is indeed a source of life, but can also be a cause of disasters. With various participatory dynamics throughout the museum, we will learn how water shaped and conditioned the lives of our ancestors, we will become aware of the collective responsibility to ensure it is truly a common good and accessible to all, and we will consider the role that climate change may play in the near future. A priority challenge for humanity.
The movement of water will serve as the guiding thread from the beginning to the end of this activity, surprising us with curiosities and new perspectives. Knowledge, observations, reflections, music, and dance will intertwine to make us all more aware of the value of water.
