The Museu Terra of the Fundació Carulla has been included this 2025, and for the third time, in the report Lo Mejor de la Cultura, which has been published annually since 2009 by the Observatorio de la Cultura of Fundación Contemporánea, one of the main analyses of the cultural sector in Spain.

The museum appears in the category Lo mejor de la cultura en el medio rural, which compiles the projects and facilities most valued by professionals in rural environments. Museu Terra also appeared in the 2024 and 2022 reports (still under the name Museu de la Vida Rural).

This year’s recognition is based on the opinion of 443 cultural professionals from across Spain, who highlight Museu Terra as a benchmark at the intersection of heritage, sustainability, territory, and contemporary creation.

With this hat-trick of inclusions, Museu Terra consolidates its position as one of the most prominent rural cultural spaces in Catalonia and Spain. We continue to work from L’Espluga de Francolí to make culture a driving force for life, care for the territory, and a shared future.
